📻 October 4th is “Smokey and the Bandit Day” — 10-4, Good Buddy!

🎬 This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the filming of Smokey and the Bandit, and on October 4, 1976, filming took place at Lamar’s Sportsman’s Club in McDonough, Georgia — better known to fans as the “Biker Bar” scene. 🏍⸏

📍 On 10-4-2026, we plan to visit the original filming location and, with a little luck, we’ll even get a chance to step inside and see where the scene was filmed exactly 50 years ago!
